Inkling Challenge terms

How to enter
Find your faction, sign in to your account and open your house's Inkling. Submit one drawing inspired by it. One entry per account, editable until entries close. One drawing per entry. A single piece is all you submit, so make it count.
Champions
You may choose a champion, a friend who draws, to make your entry. The champion must be credited and agree to the submission. You remain the entrant and keep the prize. A champion under 18 needs confirmation from a parent or guardian.
The plus-one ticket
One ticket becomes two with a qualifying Instagram post: post your entry, tag @legendsofauxillia and the friend you would bring, and paste the post link in your entry before closing. Your champion is the default plus-one. The post must be accessible for verification.
Mediums and AI
All mediums made by a person are welcome, including digital painting. AI-generated or AI-assisted artwork is not eligible. Process photos may be requested to confirm authorship.
Judging
Guy Mansfield judges Lore 40%, Soul 40% and Intent 20%. Polish is not a criterion. This is a judged challenge, not a random draw. The judge's decision is final.
Dates
Entries open 8 October 2026 and close at 23:59 SAST on 30 October 2026. The winner will be announced by 7 November 2026 on Instagram, the site and by email. The winner must respond within seven days of notification.
Prize
One 1-day general admission ticket (two with a qualifying Instagram post) to Comic Con Cape Town 2027, 24 to 27 April 2027, CTICC 1, Cape Town. Tickets will be issued once they are on sale. Travel, accommodation and spending money are not included. The prize is not transferable or exchangeable for cash.
Eligibility
South African residents aged 18 and over with an account may enter. Employees of Talon Quill Publishing and their immediate families are excluded.
Your art
The artist keeps copyright. By entering, the artist grants Talon Quill Publishing a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display the entry with credit in connection with the challenge. The art will not be sold or used in products without a separate agreement.
Ideas
Auxillia's lore remains the property of Talon Quill Publishing. Entering creates no obligation to use, publish or develop your ideas.

Entry details are used only to run the challenge, contact entrants and credit artists. Personal information is handled under our privacy notice.
