Competition terms
Effective date: 24 September 2026
Promoter
Talon Quill Publishing, South Africa.
Who may enter
South African residents aged 18 and over. Employees of Talon Quill Publishing and their immediate families may not enter.
The two draws
Faction draw: every House Card bought for R50, online or at the Talon Quill stand, includes one entry. The prize is one hand-painted Dread King bust.
Dread King draw: every Dread King Collector Sticker bought for R50, online or at the stand, includes one entry. The prize is one hand-painted Dread King bust.
House Cards and Collector Stickers sell at R50 whether or not the draws are running. Each entry has its own code, emailed to the buyer.
More purchases give more entries. One person may win only one bust across both draws.
Entry period
Entries close at 23:59 (SAST) on 27 September 2026. Entries issued after that time are not counted.
The draw
Winners are selected at random from all valid entries, live on Instagram on 30 September 2026. Winners are emailed within seven days. If a winner cannot be reached within fourteen days, we may redraw. Winners must sign an acknowledgment of receipt, give an identity number, and confirm they are not connected to the promoter before the prize is handed over. Prizes are not transferable and no cash alternative is offered.
Free sigil cards
One free sigil card per faction code may be claimed by showing your Find Your Faction result at the stand, while stocks last. No purchase is necessary for a sigil card, and a sigil card is not a draw entry.
Refunds
If a House Card or Collector Sticker is refunded, its entry is void.
Rules and records
These rules are available free on this page and at the stand, and to the National Consumer Commission on request. Records are kept for three years under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008.
